Mental health services latest recession victim (Traverse City Record-Eagle)

The region's mental health caregivers say stress from a lagging downturn caused an uptick in cases of anxiety and depression and an increase in the number of patients walking through the door. But recessions are tricky. At the same time more people are asking for economy-related care, the state announced millions of dollars in cuts for community mental health facilities.
