‘Spoof film killers’ to spend life in jail

Three killers were given life sentences yesterday for murdering a teenager in a sadistic re-enactment of a scene from a spoof horror film. Simon Everitt, 17, of Great Yarmouth , Norfolk, was tied to a tree, doused in petrol and burned alive. Jonathan Clarke , 20, of Telford, Shropshire, Jimi-Lee Stewart, 25, of Great Yarmouth, and Maria Chandler, 40, also of Great Yarmouth, will spend a total of at least 56 years in prison for the murder.
