Free gynecological exams offered at Baptist Clinic (El Paso Times)

EL PASO — University of Texas at El Paso nurse practitioner students and associate nursing professor Marjaneh Fooladi will conduct free gynecological exams from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fridays at the Baptist Clinic, 816 S. Florence.

Hospital loses portion of mental health care funding (Johnson City Press)

When a person in mental health crisis becomes a danger to himself or others, police may be called to intervene. If a judge determines that the person needs to be committed to a mental hospital for treatment, police provide secure transport to the hospital.
